Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of dennisbadger.com (the “Site”) and your registration for and attendance at continuing education courses offered by Dennis Badger & Associates, Inc. ("DB&A", “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or registering for a course, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

We provide live continuing education courses for real estate appraisers, delivered in person and via live Zoom, along with related professional education services.

Registration and Payment

Course registrations are accepted through the Site’s registration pages. Registration is complete when payment is received and confirmed. Prices are as stated on the applicable course listing at the time of registration.

Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

Cancellation by Registrant: A full refund is provided up to five (5) days prior to the seminar date, and a 50% refund until 48 hours prior to the seminar date; less than 48 hours' notice results in forfeiture of the entire payment.

Registration and payment arrangements should be completed at least 48 hours before the class begins. Registration less than 48 hours before the class begins including "at the door" may be subject to a late fee and to the availability of seats and course materials. We accept personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and government purchase orders with proper documentation. Transfer requests must be received in writing at least 48 hours prior to the seminar date; there is no transfer for a "no show."

Cancellation by DB&A: We reserve the right to cancel a course for inadequate enrollment or emergency circumstances, in which case a full refund is provided promptly or the student may transfer to a comparable course offering.

Continuing Education Credit

State approvals are listed on each course offering. Approval status varies by state and by course, and approvals are subject to renewal cycles set by each regulatory agency. You are responsible for confirming that a course meets the requirements of your licensing jurisdiction. Full attendance is required to receive credit; state regulations do not permit partial credit. Attendance verification requirements, including on-camera participation for virtual courses, follow the rules of the applicable state and the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation.

Promotional Offers

Promotional codes are subject to their stated terms and are not valid with other offers.

One per person: Limit one (1) discount per person. Duplicate redemptions may be cancelled or adjusted to standard tuition.
Non-transferable: The discount code is non-transferable and may not be sold, shared, or used by another individual.
Name matches registration: The discount is valid only for the person whose email address was confirmed and whose name appears on the registration.
Applies to tuition only: The discount applies to course tuition only and does not apply to late fees, rescheduling fees, printed materials or shipping (if any), travel-related costs, or other add-ons.
No combining offers: The discount may not be combined with any other promotion, coupon, group rate, or special pricing.
Registration required: The code must be entered at the time of registration/checkout. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed registrations or invoices.
Valid for approved courses only: The offer applies only to eligible Dennis Badger & Associates continuing education courses listed on this website. Certain courses or special events may be excluded where noted.
Expiration: The code must be redeemed before December 31, 2027.
Verification: We reserve the right to verify eligibility, including prior attendance records. If the registrant is not eligible, we may require payment of the remaining tuition prior to course delivery.
Cancellation/changes: If you cancel or do not attend, the discount has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash. Any refund, transfer, or reschedule will follow our published cancellation and reschedule policy, with refunds based on the amount actually paid.
Licensing board limitations: The discount does not guarantee course approval in any state; registrants are responsible for confirming eligibility in their jurisdiction.
Right to modify or end offer: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or end this promotion at any time. Changes will not affect registrations already confirmed and paid.

Course Materials and Intellectual Property

Course materials, handouts, slides, and the content of the Site are the property of Dennis Badger & Associates, Inc. or its licensors and are provided for your personal professional use. They may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, or used to deliver instruction without our prior written permission. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and related materials are the copyrighted work of The Appraisal Foundation and are referenced under applicable permissions.

Professional Responsibility

Our courses are educational. They do not constitute legal advice or an opinion on any specific appraisal assignment, and they do not replace your independent professional judgment or your obligations under USPAP and applicable state law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of it.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Site and our services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or any course is limited to the amount you paid to us for the course giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
