Frequently Asked Questions

What courses does Dennis Badger & Associates offer?
We provide live continuing education for real estate appraisers, including the 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course, The Appraiser’s Guide to the New URAR, the Kentucky Supervisor & Trainee Appraiser Course, and Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws & Regulations. Courses are offered in person and via live Zoom. Current offerings and dates are listed on the Education Calendar.

Are your courses approved for CE credit in my state?
Our courses are approved for appraiser continuing education in states across the country, and the list continues to grow. Each course listing shows its current state approvals. Because approvals vary by course and by state, please confirm that a specific offering is approved in your state before registering. If you have a question about a particular state, contact us and we will be glad to help.
How do I register for a course?
Visit the Education Calendar, select the course date that works for you, and complete the registration for that offering.
How do live Zoom courses work?
Zoom courses are taught live by the instructor — they are not recordings. You participate in real time, ask questions, and interact just as you would in a classroom. Most state appraiser boards require attendance verification for virtual delivery, so plan to be present, on camera where required, for the full session.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. Attendees who complete the full course receive a certificate of completion for their state CE records. Full attendance is required — state regulations do not permit partial credit. Course certificates are usually emailed within three (3) business days of successful course completion, including examination, if applicable.
Who teaches the courses?
Courses are taught by Dennis Badger, an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor, Certified General Real Property Appraiser, and former member of the Appraisal Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. Dennis brings more than 30 years of valuation and regulatory experience to every class, and serves as 2025–2026 President of the Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials (AARO).

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Our cancellation policy provides a full refund up to 5 days prior to the seminar and 50% refund until 48 hours prior the seminar date. Less than 48 hours' notice results in forfeiture of entire payment.
How can I find out when new dates or state approvals are added?
Join the course notification list on our home page. We’ll email you when new class dates and state approvals are announced. We don’t share your information.
