Learn how to recognize a suspicious real property transaction when fraud or flipping is present.

Fraudulent flipping transactions are growing in epidemic proportions across the nation.

Learning Objectives.

  1. The student will recognize a suspicious property transaction when fraud or flipping is present.

  2. The student will be able to prepare a “credible” Brokers Price Opinion.

  3. The student will be able to identify “price” versus “value”.

  4. The student will be able to identify a legal flip versus and illegal flip.

  5. The student will identify the parts of the Uniform Standards of Professional Practice to assist in preventing violations of fraud and flipping transactions.

About the Instructor.  Larry Disney is the Executive Director of the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board and a licensed Kentucky Real Estate Sales Broker, Kentucky Certified General Real Property Appraiser, SRA designated member of the Appraisal Institute, 2005-2006 President of the Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials (AARO), and is certified USPAP instructor.

Length: One day, 7-hour continuing education seminar. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the seminar begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.
